TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

Okay good!! I saw that we were sitting in the exam and I was like hold up I haven’t learned about medication and a bunch of other stuff.

To those who didn’t get in YET don’t give up....not everyone will accept and spots will open up....if you don’t get in for this cycle TRY AGAIN....I applied Fall 2018 and didn’t get in...I retook two classes and boosted my GPA to 4.0 and TWU was the only school I applied to because I need the evening/weekend program!

Congrats to those that got in, and for those that did not, don't give up. I applied to UTH, UTMB, and TWU Houston and was accepted to all my first time applying so I have some advice for those who are applying again. All I can say is to retake classes you have Cs in. Anything less than an 80 on a section of the HESI or TEAS should be considered as a 'subpar score'. Although I got a low score on my reading on the TEAS, my other scores were great.

I will most likely be attending UTH, so a spot will be opening for TWU in Houston so congrats to the lucky person taking my spot! You deserve it!

OMG I MADE IT !!!! Dallas Night/Weekend Program Fall 2019. I've been following this group since day 1 but never had encourages to post anything here because this is my first attempt applying to TWU and didn't expect that I can get an offer from them.

Is there anyone here going to open the FB page for NW program Fall 2019? Please let me know, I need guidances from y'all.
