TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

Anybody think it’s going to be today? Getting anxious but reminding myself to relax and stay calm!

honestly i don't think it will be since the last update from the TWUadmin post said April, HOWEVER I'm hoping its today LOL but i'm telling myself to expect something next week ?

I'm at work too BUT I'm sure they're tired of me LOL...if they could just give us a date on when they would come out, like in the past, that would help LOL

I'm not expecting anything until next week ☹️ but hoping its this week, but im trying to just remain calm and wait on the email...im sure if anyone calls or email they're probably just going to say "this week or next week"

On the bright side, at least we would know which week!

that's true...i would figure they would try to get them out this week...since its normally a 2 week time frame we would have to accept or decline the offer and they could then offer spots to anyone on the waiting list since the mandatory orientation is 5/3...but who knows...LOL

I just emailed, and they replied with “I hope by the end of this week” so fingers crossed it happens soon.

I have a question, it may seem dumb, but is there a time where we need to declare our nursing specialty? For example, OR, ER, ICU, recovery and etc.

In April, will we be expecting acceptance letters in the morning or at the end of the day? Not sure if anyone knows what time they typically send them out, or if the time varies.
