TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

I haven't got mine either. I called last week and they haven't processed my application and am going to talk with an adivsor tomorrow at a phone appt about my application status.

I wouldn't worry too much! You can log in to your NursingCAS application and check the status. Before the advisors at TWU can process your application, NursingCAS must have already "verified" your application. So that is your first check. (I am attaching a pic of what my status looks like as verified.)

Once you know that is done then you could contact an advisor to see what's up. Wylijanna Cole and Rekah Nair have been very helpful to me (Rekah Nair is directly associated with the Dallas campus).

On last years "allnurses" forum I saw a post from the TWU nursing advisors on like March 11th saying that all of the eligibility emails have been sent out and by that date everyone should have received the email. So they may just not be done with all of the processing yet ?

Just got my eligibility email! Phew time for the next phase of waiting though I'm sure time will pass by quick with Spring Break. Good luck to everyone!

yea, by this time the N&W program applicants already knew if they were in or not...however, looking back at Fall 2017 both N&W and traditional students found out at the same time and it was after spring break! So hopefully we hear something by 3/18 which is the monday after spring break I believe! *fingers crossed and Good Luck everyone*

Yeah I went back and looked at the discussion board for those applying for Fall 2018 and it looks like most the people got their acceptance emails in the evening on March 19th, but I think N&W got theirs earlier. Either way, it's coming up! ? I'm hoping the advisors will "surprise" us by telling us early but no rush for them as I'm sure they're incredibly busy lol

I just got my eligibility email and, thankfully, my application is eligible for consideration!
