TWU - Houston - Fall 2012

Hey guys! I don't know what happened to the last thread but I wanted to create a new one! Anyone out there applying for Fall 2012 to the Houston campus? I'm super excited and have all my stuff taken care of minus my Fall 2011 transcripts! I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we all get in!

Hi everyone...

I also apply at Houston campus for fall 2012. I wonder how or where we can find our GPA and TEAS score that we sent to TWU, or we just have to calculate our GPA??

I took my TEAS test on the 30th and its e-mail to me that the score transcript was sent to twu at the 31 st. so I guess it is pretty fast for the sending the score to the school.

Welcome aboard! There is a gpa calculation sheet on the TWU website @

BS Admission Requirements - TWU College of Nursing - Texas Woman's University and that will give you an idea where you stand. TWU will be looking at pre-req gpa and science gpa.

You will also get a Pioneer Portal account and you will be able to check your transcripts there through Webadvisor. There will be a link for unofficial transcripts and then select Undergraduate and it will bring up an unofficial transcript so you can see all of your courses. As far as the TEAS score it will not show in the Portal account and you will have to call the Denton campus and verify with them that the scores were received.

You can also ask for a counselor to do an evaluation over the phone with you and they can tell you what your gpa is and verify that all of your documents have been received.

Haha yeah I have so many questions for them I can't wait to go. I hope our thread gets more active, we don't have that many people on here!

Yeah I hope so too. I think it will now that the deadline is here. I'm excited about Saturday too, last time I went there was a drawing for a couple $1000 dollar scholarships so I'm hoping this time they'll draw me! Every little bit helps!

I'm kinda happy the thread isn't as active. Terrible, I know. But I was just hoping that means less applicants and more chance for all of us to get in! lol.
