TWU - Houston - Fall 2012

Hey guys! I don't know what happened to the last thread but I wanted to create a new one! Anyone out there applying for Fall 2012 to the Houston campus? I'm super excited and have all my stuff taken care of minus my Fall 2011 transcripts! I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we all get in!

ktdidit, That's an AWESOME score and GPA. And thanks for letting me know! I agree, the TEAS was tough.

Hey ktdidit, yeah the HESI wasn't bad at all..but somehow I still didn't do well on the Ap portion. I noticed on another thread you said you applied to UT Houston. I did as well :)If you get accepted into both, which will you choose?And does anybody know how many students TWU Houston accepts for the fall?

You asked the million dollar question! I have no idea which one I will go to. I have played the pros and cons of both schools over and over trying to figure that out. A big plus for TWU with me is that they have the summer session off meaning I wouldn't have to pay for my child to go to daycare all summer. I go back and forth. Honestly I just want to be a nurse and I'll be happy beyond words if someone will just give me that opportunity! How about you?

I know what you mean! And I understand about the day care money. Well I couldn't decide either but I think I messed up too much on the Ap section on the HESI for UT... so I'll most likely not have to decide either way. But I'd be more than happy going toTWU!

I am applying for the fall, sending application in tomorrow, can i mail my officail transcript or it has to come straight from the school. I scheduled to take TEAS on the 31st is that too late. I am applying to PV and TWU.

Babyibou,You can mail in your transcripts to TWU! Your school can also send them through SPEEDE if your school offers that! About the TEAS, I would call and ask them if that was too late to take it. Honestly I don't know how long it takes for the results to get to the schools. I hope this helps! Best of luck to you!

For all those waiting for transcripts to update:

I turned in my last transcript two weeks ago and they updated it today. Also they told me that our TEAS score will not show up on the Pioneer Portal or Webadvisor. Hope this helps relieve someone else besides me!

I took the TEAS yesterday and applied today. Hopefully it wasnt too late. I also applied to UTHSC but I sent that in a long time ago since I took the HESI last year. Good luck everyone!
