I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
I would like to note that Scrubs will be awesome to wear all the time, but the options for guys are seriously limited, you guys get freakin flowers, Finding Nemo, polka dots, and the list goes on! As a straight man in this world, these are not an option! I am stuck with like dark blue and black, sigh...you guys are so lucky :)
but murse you could always wear smiley faces.. i dont think we would mind =) and pink looks good on guys as wells.. see now you have a variety of things to choose from,. but to take out the trash i would prefer wearingg the black scrubs lol
I believe we have to wear white tops with maroon bottoms for clinicals. I went out of state and graduated in 2005. Nicole I want a sticker to to put on my SUV. Micheal I'm sure u are stonger than me
yea, I think I'm gonna like you guys a lot. Hopefully we'll keep each other's spirits up when it gets tough! No way I'm wearing smiley faces(maybe if they made them with frowney faces we'd talk :)) , now nemo is optional for the sheer fact that nemo had that 'lucky fin' and I think I laughed so hard I cried when they said it in the movie, lol.
uh ohh ok so i made a mistake i think... when we fax out the form i accidently wrote my student ID instead of my twu id.. what do i doooo?!!?!?!? should i email her and let her knoww

Ruchita-we need to like set up a time when we can meet or something cuz u liv in houston as well so we can look at the apartments and stuff. I really wanna find a place soon so i won't have to worry about it later.
