I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
i live in sugarland.. like maybe 5 mins away from west oaks malll and FC mall, im like right between. and it takes me 20 mins to get to medcenter with no traffic ofcourse
that's not bad at all. I wouludn't move if i were you...just to save some money. Lol, I want to move...lol but I can't. And i want to save my mom some money so i'll just commute the hour ...even though its gonna be a drag
ya i know.. but i feel like i just want to atleast the first semester, so i can atlease the gist of how it feels, and it might be a small plus for us to live there, knowing that the school is right there and midnight studies at the lib. and stuff

lol i hope we hve to wear scrubs all the time bc i'm getting tired of spending money on clothes lol. That will solve all my clothes problems. I want a sticker for my car too.
I'm down for the whole living close to campus too ruchita, I spent most of my time on campus on my 1st degree, and getting study groups together and midnight library studies made the classes so much easier. And nicole, I bet you could always crash on someone's couch during exam week, we wouldn't leave you out!
yep yep....and i think the expierence of just liivin with roomies in prof. school just sounds amazingg.. and would make things so much better cause we all would be classmates
