I heard that TWU Houston has an evening/part-time program. Anyone have any info..i.e. class schedule, clinical rotation. I have completed all but 3 prereq & core classes - and will have 60 hrs entering the program. I need a program that alllows me to work during the day and go to school in the evening.

Any info is appreciated

I go there and I've never heard of this. Some people go part time (I did my last class that way), but you have no say in clinical sites if you do this because full timers get first pick of everything.

Are you saying there are no evening clinicals? When you say you go part time what times are you going and what type of course load do you have?

No evening clinicals at all. Most are 7a-3p weekdays only. VERY few clinicals have 12 hr shifts and only one does 12 hrs nights. By part time, I mean if you fail a class- you can't take the clinical courses for the next semester until you pass the failed class, but you can take some of the nonclinical courses (like research). I dropped a clinical/class last semester so it is the only one I'm taking this semester. Also, there are no classes in the evening except patho..it's 5-9 on Thurs nights.

I have never heard of a evening nursing school at TWU. For this semster it was only 1 clinical that you could go to at nite it was 3-11p, but classes are on monday and tuesday ranging from 8-12 & 2-4.
