I just received my acceptance email for the Fall 2015 Weekend/Evening program at TWU-Dallas. I wanted to create a forum to get to know the other students accepted into the program.

Do we have a class Facebook group? Thought maybe we could start one so those talking pathophysiology can collaborate or message one another if needed.

Yes, I started a FB group for us today. Find me online and I can add you. I have added the patho notes to the group too.

I just found this thread. I am interested in the TWU weekend program. For those of you with previous Bachelor's degrees, did you take pre-reqs at TWU? I am currently taking my courses through Collin College but wondering if I should finish up my sciences, at least, at TWU. I still need micro, patho, chem plus some history classes.

I did all my science prereqs through community colleges, specifically DCCCD. So micro, A&P, nutrition, chemistry and stats were all taken at community college. I am going to take patho this summer but that's the first class I'll be taking at TWU.

I'm applying to admission to the 2016 class. Can you share how the evening classes during the week work? Specific days? Web based? Thanks.

Hey Cory, sorry for the delay, hadn't checked this in a while. The first semester (Fall 2016) you will have class/labs on Saturdays and that's pretty much it. You will have to take pharmacology online and pathophysiology online if you haven't already done so. I strongly recommend taking the online class in the summer if at all possible.

Once first semester is over we have class Tuesday and Friday nights 5:30pm-8:30pm along with Clinicals/labs Saturday and Sunday. Hope that helps!
