I just received my acceptance email for the Fall 2015 Weekend/Evening program at TWU-Dallas. I wanted to create a forum to get to know the other students accepted into the program.

Hi Everyone! My name is Jackie and I am attending the weekend program this Fall. Wondering if you guys have received any further information for orientation next Friday? I am super excited to meet everyone and get more information around shots etc..

Hey Jackie! I haven't gotten anything else about the orientation. The only things I've gotten are the forms we have to fill out saying we're accepting, the background check paperwork, etc.

Hi Jackie! Within that big packet we received there was information about it. New student orientation is Friday, May 1st at 8:00am in the Auditorium at the Dallas Center. We will sign up for classes and have the opportunity to buy books and then lunch. It's ends at 2:00pm. Hope that helps! See you next Friday!

Hi, I am Brooke, have been accepted into the program for the fall as well. Can someone clarify the topic of pathophysiology registration. I got an email to respond yes to register for summer online, but can we wait till fall? Thanks, meet you all on Friday.

Hi Brooke- I am a post-bacc student, I received an email saying we need to respond by this Wednesday due to a weird hold thing they have for students with a previous bachelors degree. Our choices are either we have already taken patho, we will take it in the summer, or will take it in the fall. I work during the day so taking it in the summer is not an option for me, but sure does seem like s great opportunity. Hope that helps í ½í¸‰

Hi Brooke! My name is Maria. I'd like to add that the summer course is not online it's actually in class and since we work during the day we can't really do that. You can take it in the fall online or in class in the summer and you pretty much just have to let her know which option you want.

I'm a little nervous about that course since it doesn't have very good reviews for that particular instructor who will be teaching the fall course.

I want to take the course this summer but again with working that won't be an option because it's not online. I have responded to Ashley to register for the fall course. I know it's not recommended, but that's my only option. I have a feeling I won't be the only one taking on this course during the semester. See everyone Friday!

There's an online summer course that you can be wait listed on. It's reserved for the RN-BSN students but you can get on the wait list and they'll contact you if there's space. That might be a little bit better than taking it in the fall with other courses. In any case, I also responded to her saying to go ahead and register me for the fall course but that I was wait listed for the summer.
