TWU, Fall 2006

Published

Has anyone heard anything from TWU? I received my results pretty quick from the NET test.

This is the 3rd time I've been rejected from TWU...

Im sorry :(...Hopefully UT will come through....maybe this is just Fate's way of saying that you should be a Longhorn!!

:thankya:

Hi there!

I recently got accepted :redlight:@ TWU on March 11. I would recommend this school to anyone. I have not heard one bad comment about the Dallas campus. It is close enough to home, so that I don't have to move and the tuition is not as high as Baylor! Hope to meet some of you there!!!

Time to celebrate on out path to a brighter future!:biere:

I just graduated from TWU- Dallas May 2006. It is a great program and I think the reputation alone really helps when you go to look for a job. I was accepted into a NNICU internship. Good luck to all of you. I think TWU still has a great pass rate.. I want to say maybe 97% in the last graduating class passed the NCLEX. I could be wrong though but they are always talking about high pass rates which is important. The only down side is you will have to take the HESI exam but I think this is becoming common place at most nursing schools now. :nurse:

Specializes in Postpartum/Nursery.

Do you know anything about the RN-MSN program in Dallas?

Specializes in ICU, ER, HH, NICU, now FNP.

The TWU RN-MSN basically only saves you from taking two classes - undergrad patho and undergrad assessment. Other than that - its the same as doing the BSN and then the MSN.

In all honesty - thank God I took the UG Patho and assessment both - it made the graduate courses much easier, because they are taught very much the same way, use the same style of testing and they share instructors. Definate advantage.
