I wanted to start a forum for FALL 2022 NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS NURSING PROGRAM
Congratulations to those accepted in the N&W program! I'm hoping to apply next year and wrapping up science prereqs now.
Have any of you found a good way to learn more about the program from current or former students? I know it is T/F evenings and weekend clinicals. But I'd love to know from current or former students how they navigated studying with work and/or family. What is the load like semester to semester? Is it feasible for moms with young kids, and how much childcare do people usually plan for in order to study during the days? What are the usual clinical placement sites (for Dallas)?
If anyone has thoughts or knows more about these questions, I'd love to hear more!

Hello,
I have not tried to talk to anyone currently enrolled or already graduated from the N/W program. If I was trying to though, I would comment on a previous term or message some of the people who were accepted in previous years. You might get lucky and have someone reply and share with you.
You can search AllNurses by TWU Fall 2020, TWU Fall 2021, etc and read through the comments to find someone to message. You can also post on the threads directly asking for advice on them.
Hello, just a reminder:
There are two approved ways to create a special place for your cohort.
One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.
Two: create a "club" for your cohort by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page. Then click on “Create A New Club” in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.
References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.
Thank you.
Hey guys! I’ve created a facebook group for the Nights and Weekends Class of 2024.
Hello everyone,
I'm going to apply for TWU Fall 2023 Evening and Weekend program. For those of you who are already in the program for this Fall 2022, can you please let me know the 8 didactic courses that are 100% online as mentioned on their class schedule below? I can't afford to quit my full-time job yet and so the evening & weekend program is the best option for me.
Thank you for your time and congratulations on your new career path.

Hi Trinh,
Unfortunately, they haven’t told us all the courses that will be online. For the fall semester 2022, pharmacology will be online and classes will be evenings (twice a week) 5-8:30 with labs on Saturdays. Asides from that, the rest is unknown. However, when I first searched for information and went through the process, I was advised that classes will be evenings and clinicals and labs on weekends.
You could try reaching out to an advisor to try to obtain that information.
-Best of luck,

Hey, if you log into the pioneer portal
https://portal.twu.edu/default.asp?refby=%2Fmyinfo.asp
You’ll see both numbers you need for the Clinical Survey. The student number and the other one.
-Hope this helps ?
