TWU Fall 2020 Applicants

Updated:   Published

Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:

Overall: 85.3%

Reading: 87.2%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 74.5%

English: 83.3%

I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.

I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.

Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

Thanks for responding! I forgot to mention that I was taking them at a community college, not TWU. The drops are specific to the school correct?

No, drops are cumulative from all school's you've attended.

WOW!! Well at least there’s still hope. Thank you for emailing!

Second wave is for when people decline their acceptance. Someone who has been accepted should be able to tell y'all when the acceptance due date is for those who got in this morning, after that due date they will move to next applicants.

What was the least score accepted to Dallas traditional so far ?

Can you all please share this information ?

I am insured through my husband's work, but I do know the school offers insurance but it is pricey. If you're currently uninsured, I would suggest trying to apply for an exemption through the insurance marketplace and shopping rates through them since they are usually cheaper. Insurance is mandatory, so if you cannot get the exemption you may have to just enroll in the school's insurance program for the first semester until open enrollment opens for the marketplace which I believe is in November!

Thanks for the information.
