Turned down offer, now regretting it. No turning back?

I turned down a hospital job offer. It was because my moms health took a nose dive. Its been a month and she's doing better. I really could have taken the job. The recruiter told me that she would love to see my application again when I'm ready. Should I even contact them? Thank you. I really wanted the job

Yes, reach out to the recruiter and send in another application. Life happens. From what the recruiter said it sounds like they would be willing to give you another chance.
