turned in application for RN program yesterday

Now I have to wait until 8 weeks from Oct. 1 to see if I get in. This is going to be a bad wait. I know everyone else has to wait also, but I really don't think I have enough points to get in this term. And if I dont get in, we will probably move which will throw me off for another year (residency issue)...If it's not against your belief- pray for me.!!!Thanks---Ginger in FL

The wait is horrible - I'll give you that. Use the time to brush up on math (fractions, decimals, conversions), maybe some nursing concepts (that always seems to be the big topic the first semester), and any other applicable reading.

I have been an LPN for 7 years, and have been working on this RN for 7 years also. I finally found a college that will take credit that old and am finishing up my pre-req's this semester. If God's Willing- I'll make it in!!!! Ginger in FL

I also turned in my application last week, but don't think I will get in because I have 1 class in progress. I tried for 3 semesters to get into microbiology and finally got it. But because it took so long to get it, I had to apply with it in progress. So basically its putting me 1 yr behind. Its so hard to get into these classes. Good Luck to everyone out there.

I worked so hard getting A's in the last few classes that I needed, and now I am moving. So I will have to apply at the CC that I originally went to 7 years ago in June and hope I can get in there.. I am beginning to think maybe I should just stop trying to get my RN and be satisfied....Another year now!!
