I live in California, and was looking into trasfering to Arizona to do the nursing program there. Does anyone know the requirements to get the county tuition? a friend of mine told me there was some law if you transfer somewhere for nursing they have to give you county tuition? i have no idea if thats true or where she got that info from but if anyone knows anything please let me know! i defintly dont want to pay like $250 for out of state tuition!

I would recommend posting this on the Arizona Nurses forum here and you should be able to find some info on that at the Community College's website.
I know it varies for example at my college in district students are considered for acceptance into the nursing program before out of district students are. It can vary so much!

You should definitely check this out. You pay less than out-of-state, but a little more than in-state tuition. You have to specifically ask to be a "WUE" student when you apply. The only catch that I see is that if you are a "WUE" student to start, then even if you qualify to be a resident later, you still have to pay "WUE" prices.
