Ado sorry to hear about your daughter in law, I hope she gets out of the hospital soon and continues on the road to recovery.  Glad your son is OK

Dianah I see lots of ads on FB too, kind of annoying but most people I know are on it

Stars I find those time of tech issues very annoying as well

Tweety glad you're feeling at least somewhat recovered

Had some required online training at work, which would have been a breeze if I hadn't gotten a new case.  Still got both done, but it was a bit aggravating, especially since at one point I had to restart my modem and computer to make one of the programs work.  But it did my best not to get too aggravated

After work was fairly quiet, did the laundry and exercised

Today hopefully will be more ordinary at work.  Have the grocery shopping tonight

Will be a little bit cooler, in the lower 80s

Good morning!

Ado, so sorry about your DIL and hope she will be okay.

Bowling was indeed fun but we got beat and alas stay in last place.  LOL

Scheduled a one-hour hot yoga this AM at 11:00.  Best friend is getting some furniture delivered at his new place today.  His contractor is finishing up soon, doing things like putting shelves in the closet, but much of the big work is done.  There's some plumbing issue that needs to be resolved but things are coming together.  He's also going to go over with the contractor what the final payment would be after getting in there and needing to buy more stuff and get more things.  He's a very good and honest contractor but expensive.

I had bowling alley food and my GI system at 2AM was not happy.  I'll leave it at that.  LOL.

I am thrilled that the probiotics are making things behave for me. Tweety, I wish you could find similar relief.

Ado, OMG, I hope your DiL recovers from being so really and truly banged up! That was a heck of a way to 'celebrate' her birthday. I know that once I started work on a spinal cord unit at MGH, I could not longer ride on a motorcycle. I loved the feeling of being on one, but so many of my patients had their lives abruptly changed by spinal cord injuries.....well, I just couldn't do it anymore. I did have a boyfriend once whose sole way of getting around was a motorcycle. What I most remember about that was one time some driver cut us off somehow, and my boyfriend speeded up, and at the next stoplight he pulled up to the driver's side and planted his S----Kicker boot emphatically against the driver's side door giving it a good foot-sized dent, and said, "Maybe NOW you'll know not pull any thing like that on any other motorcycle drivers!" It kind of scared me, but the driver of the car got meek and said he was sorry. The boyfriend said menacingly, "Sorry wouldn't help it you'd made us CRASH!" (YIKES!)

Interlude: Have to let Tinker take me out for a drag-and-yank around the yard before I get that Nannie-person up for the day. Shall return later!!

That was fast! As we were going out the back door I did not have a firm grip on the leash and Tinker took off at I-don't-know-how-many-miles-per-hour with her leash dragging behind her, and I got this awful feeling of dread. Fortunately she stopped at the bottom of the yard before the woods, and I saw her looking back at me so I yelled in a very enthusiastic and FRIENDLY voice, "C'mere Tinker!"....and she came back to me with the same speed she left. THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT!! Whew!

So, now for the Nannie-routine. *sigh*

Stars, I have similar thoughts about motorcycles. Such high speeds with little to protect one's body. Hubs' nephew died in a motorcycle accident at age 29. My sister's husband was hit by a dump truck while riding and never came off a vent. He died 2 years later. He had already suffered a brain injury 13 years before that but recovered to maybe 90% of his prior capabilities.

Stepdaughter needs some help. They have, at home, a 16-yr-old and 8-yr-old twins. Roght now the 16-yr-old is getting the little girls off to school and such but...

Oh Annie, that is so tragic. I am sending healing thoughts to your DiL. I've ridden on 4 wheelers, but never had a desire to get on a motorcycle. I am nervous enough just on my bicycle on quiet country roads. At my first hospital job,  the neurosurgeon who always admitted her patients to our floor, called them donor-cycles.

Stars, good news about your digestive issues. Good thing the dog stopped and came back. I would like to take my dogs to the off-leash park but I don't think they would obey around other dogs and might get in a fight. About a year ago, someone in the area took a foster dog to the off-leash park and she disappeared for about 3 months. Luckily, she was finally found.

My boy dog, Punch, seems to have recovered from his problems. Ugh, what a mess. We just got back from a nice walk. The leaves are starting to turn.  Its sunny now, but we are supposed to get more rain tonight.

I need to go to the store to get something for dinner. I've been craving mac n cheese. I also found a recipe for pumpkin bars I mean to make to share with the gardeners tomorrow. I wish I could make soup for an evening meal, but dh does not consider that to be meal.
