Tweety sounds like a  productive day

Stars glad you're feeling better today

Dianah I hope that the allergies ease up

NJ22 growing up we would often get poinsettias for Christmas

Ado glad the procedure went well.  For an easy meal maybe omelettes or a frittata?

Was a busy day at work yesterday, covering for the coworker who was off.  But I still had time to work ahead a bit in the afternoon.  Which is good, as she got 2 new cases at the end of the day.  Did the laundry during lunch and exercised after work

Today, in addition to the 2 new cases, have more work for the absent coworker than yesterday.  Will have to see if there is any help available, although it may be tricky given that a lot of people are off for the holiday.  Going to start work early and cut lunch short and see if that helps. Have the grocery shopping after work

Will get up to the low 50s again, with rain in the morning

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a good day.  Too bad you have to cut lunch short.

J22, nice to see all those poinsettias in one place.

Ado, glad the procedure went well.

Dianah, hope your allergies get better.  Yes, we are going to one of the resorts here for a buffet on Thanksgiving.

I love grilled cheese.  Rarely make them though.  Sliced olives on grilled cheese??  Hmmmm........

I got up at 6:00 AM and am going to try to reverse my pattern to get up early in prep for going back to work Friday and getting up at 5:00AM.  The last thing I need before a 12 hour shift is staying up past midnight.

We lost all our games last night and will remain in last place.

I did not clean the bathrooms on "clean the bathrooms Monday" and that's on the agenda today, along with a hot yoga class (the shorter on hour version is all they offer on Tuesdays).

Have a great day.

I'm awake, but not sure how long I'll stay that way! Fed Tinker, took my meds and I am in bed drinking coffee. The Thursday caregiver is working this afternoon because Thurs, is Thanksgiving Day. I don't have to go out for anything today.....well, except for taking Tink out several times for her to drag me around the yard 😋. Wish I could remember my dream last night. I do know it was busy, full of people, and had a little bit of 'work'  and the usual looking at houses, and it was kind of fun. But no details to fill out that basic framework.

Not sure about planning anything because when I do, the day ends up with me not carrying out my plans. But I have concepts of ideas!

Supposed to get into the mid to upper 60's, with rain predicted for now (it isn't raining now) and around 4-5 PM and 6:30-ish. The big storms predicted to be going on, are actually going to go around us and we aren't going to get as much storming as others. They say we need a good soaking rain, but it prolly ain't a'gonna happen for us.

I want to trim my hair, but I don't want SiL to do it. Wish I could arrange some mirrors so I can see the back of my head like I used to be able to do when I lived up in Asheville. Then I could trim it myself like I did before, because I 'understand' my hair better than she does.  It's NOT 'difficult' hair, but she is more used to doing hair on little old ladies with thin, short, and/or curly hair.  Oh well, things will work out one way or another.

Maybe I'll do a quick perusal of the headlines here on-line, and then make myself get up and dressed. (OR wait until later; I still haven't decided!)

Hope everyone is feeling fine and froggy (whatever that means!)

Hello all!

Joe, ugh, that's busy, what with the short work week and your covering for co-workers who are off.  I hope today goes smoothly for you (despite cutting lunch short).

Tweety, too bad about the bowling stats.  You usually balance them well with the fun and camaraderie of the games.

No Stars, glad you get some respite today, in place of Thursday.  Are you and Nannie going over to BiL's for Thanksgiving?  Please give Tinker some scritches for me.

We had a REALLY good practice yesterday --- the arrangements for the songs we have chosen are jelling well.  We will get together again on Monday, and then have the two songs to do, at the little TV station on Tuesday early evening.

After we practiced, we stopped with fiddler K to get some Vietnamese food.  In retrospect, we should have just gone straight home.  She would have gotten home earlier, and we all could have had a simple meal at home rather than staying out later.  We got home around 8:45, but still, she had 20 min of driving home after that, and we had to wind down.  We were both really tired, and I don't think, if we have a later-in-the-afternoon practice like that, that we will get a meal out again.  We'll likely decide to go straight home.

We were going to Disneyland on Wednesday but forecasts put it at 80 degrees or warmer; it will be a little warm for us in our dapper-ware, so dh changed the reservation to Sunday.

Have a good afternoon and evening!

We opted for the grilled cheese tonight. With some leftover chili mac.

Will definitely do omelets for one of the meals this week. The Gma sitter brought 3 frozen pies. My goodness! 2 are pecan and one is lemon. They're from Fields, a local bakery. I can't make a pecan pie better than a Fields pecan pie.

Im having trouble typing this because Ilsa the kitten is being both cuddly and playful. I downloaded a cat toy app so she has learned that my phone is a plaything.
