Tweety sorry the work day was so bad

Stars I hope you get the water heater fixed soon

Dianah that sounds like a nice day

Ado too bad that it was rainy all day

Weather was nice yesterday, went on a fairly long ride on the prairie path.  Came home and watched Amadeus and made chili from a new cookbook I just got.  Otherwise a quiet day

Hoping the work day will be easy.  Tomorrow is my nephew's graduation, will be getting back late from that, and then have an event with the meetup group Thursday.  Could be a tiring, although short,  week

Will be warmer today,  in the upper 80s

Good morning!

Congrats to the graduates!

I watched Amadeus when it came out on VCR back in the day.  Good acting.  One of the rare times both stars got Best Actor Oscar nominations for the same film.

Yikes Ado.  Hope you feel better.  Nurses make terrible patients but keep an eye on that.

Stars, glad you don't have to worry about the financing of hot water heater but sure isn't convenient.  Hope it gets fixed fast.  Sorry to read about another fall.

Yesterday I spent recovering from the weekend.  Had a nice nap and made it to the gym.  I decided I wasn't tired and cleaned the bathrooms at around 9pm, a task I usually try to complete on Mondays but was too lazy too.

Hope to make it to yoga and see the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" in the theater.

Have a great day.

Good morning. The day is starting out overcast. Hopefully it will clear off by afternoon. We played mini-golf yesterday, and I actually beat dh, which is unusual. Then we stopped for lunch at a cafe by the beach. It was not as crowded as one might have expected, for an American and Canadian holiday, perhaps because of the cool weather. We did see a couple of windsurfers out on the bay. As we drove through the state park, there were lots of picnickers.

I planted zinnia seeds and stuck some of dh's Spring flowers in the ground. He powered-washed part of the back deck. Another project that will likely go unfinished.

Today I have a massage scheduled, mostly to work on my arms and shoulders, which I think are sore from gardening.

I've read that booking eye exams has gotten tough, but for a change in condition, I think they will see you sooner. Certainly treating something before there is permanent damage is best. My dad had that clouding over his lens implants, and they fixed quickly with a laser treatment. I keep hoping that I will qualify for cataracts, but for years they say "not yet". I would like to have better vision.

Congratulations to all the grads!

J22, the last time Hubs and I played mini golf (in Florida in December) I was ahead until the last few holes, which is quite rare.

Today has been hot, about 86. I read somewhere that we haven't yet had a 90-degree day this year. Well, it was close enough. Hubs and I ran some errands. We took the convertible and the sun was warm.

Not much progress on my decluttering and reorganizing efforts today. Tomorrow evening we go out to eat with the choir. Thursday night my book club is meeting. So no time now until I get back from Indiana.

Soooooo, join me in a l-o-n-g string of terrible cusswords: *%@&$%#!)(!

Hubby fell again tonight at the top of the stairs and fell into the kitchen. Didn't break any skin, didn't hit his head....but he had a heck of a time getting up. Had to help him haul his orifice up on a stair going upstairs, and finally he managed to get on his feet. And guess what he said he was doing, going up the stairs? He was going to get  Xanax! I told him "No way are you going to take Xanax. as drunk as you are. If you just "have to take a Xanax", take 1/2 a tab and then GO TO BED!" I said, "You do NOT need to be trying to go up and down the stairs in the condition you're in."  I said I would HOPE he would call me if he needs something from downstairs; this falling again business is pizzing me off bigtime. I said he was doing well, when he eased off drinking so much. Now he's started drinking + buzzing WAY TOO MUCH, again.

The water tank is still leaking; I changed the towels mid-day, and had to do it again before I got Nannie to bed. I told her she better not get up in the middle of the night, trip on the towels, and fall. I could not close her bedroom door because of the towels. I left the bathroom light on so it will show into her room and maybe she will see the towels on the floor. If not....OH WELL! I

I simply can't do everything and take care of everybody, and I don't intend to.

Hubby has an appt w/ the eye doc tomorrow at 3:40 PM, and I suppose I should be driving him. They had told him that he has to see his primary doc first, and that the eye doc doesn't treat vertigo and whatever else he complained about. He was raising so much h-e-double-hockey-sticks about them telling him he needs to see his primary, they finally said, OK, he could go in tomorrow and see the eye doc. Cripes!

I'm sick of this scheist.

So sorry, Stars. How frustrating.
