Tweety that is pretty old for a cat

Ado glad that Dory seems to be doing OK

Stars here's hoping you can get more stuff crossed off your list

NJ22 I know the feeling, although it seems like you did a lot

Was busy at work, thankfully not much new work came in while I was away but there was a new case and a bunch of emails and documents.  Was able to get through everything but didn't have time to help anyone else

Cat's medication was ready after work, so I stopped to pick that up. Then exercised and spent some time on the dating apps.  Then spent some more time on Stitch looking for groups and activities in my area.  Then did some searching for pickleball games near me (not having much success)

Was feeling fairly worn out by the time yesterday was over.  Think all of the above, combined with the need to start the process for my NC license, and to start getting educational stuff started for various license/certification renewals this year, is starting to wear on me.  Will have to reflect and see what truly needs to be done, and when.  Don't want my time off work to feel like my time at work

Thankfully nothing unusual going on after work today, so I will get a bit of a break.  Work should be fairly normal today too, no one off and no meetings

Currently about 30 but supposed to get up to the upper 50s today

Good morning!

Joe, do they allow you time in your work day to get all these licenses since it's a job requirement?

Ado, sorry that gma is being so difficult.

In a burst of "snap out of it" I got out of a funk and mowed the grass, mopped the floors, cleaned bathrooms, did a load of laundry and went to the grocery store.  I feel very pleased with myself and it will make today much easier.

Bowling was fun but we lost and got booted down to 11th place.  I am the last bowler on my team, a position that is called "the anchor" for some reason.  Sometimes a game is so close it comes down to that last bowler.  In a nerve wracking last frame in order to win I had to make 16 points which meant I had to get a strike for a spare and then some.  I got 20 and we won by four.  I was very pleased with myself for not getting so nervous I screwed up.

I'm full of myself sometimes.  Today won't be much happening but some meal prep.  Going back to the store for some things and meal prep.  Going to make my own veggie broth so I can save some money and make it salt free.  I have a bouillon I really like but it's loaded with sodium and doc says to cut back.  The last two days my blood pressure has bene greater than 140 (I know..you're thinking..dude get on some blood pressure medicine already) but today it was 127/77 despite sleeping less than 7 hours.  Bleh......

J22, did you find your debit card?

Hope it was a good work day, Joe.

Tweety, it's OK to feel good about yourself and enjoy the moments when you get a little affirmation that you're good at something. And congrats on not choking on that last frame!

I took part in a root cause analysis training online today that lasted about 3.5 hours. It was good information but that is a long time to focus like that. And the second half is Thursday. So I didn't do any NHSN sessions today. But I did watch an intro to the workplace violence prevention program that SSM is adopting.

No I didn't find the card, so I got a new one at the credit union. I have a few bills auto paid with that one, so I'll need to update those.
we had half a day of fog, then the sun came out. Today was recycle day, so the garden refuse tote got emptied, and I have it half full again, all ready. I watched a webinar about joint replacement. I hope I never need that. Then I was going to meet someone on Zoom to talk about writing a newsletter and she had to reschedule. So I took a nap. My hayfever is kicking in and I think that's why I'm so tired.
Nice bowling, tweety.
Yeah, Joe, getting out of state licenses sounds like time you should get paid for.
Annie, 3.5 hr online training, yeouch!
Im skipping trivia tonight. My teammate is working late.

SiL came over and got Nannie washed and dressed, then took her over to their house for the day. I went to the dealership and got a tire re-inflated and the low-tire warning light went off. Then I went to the health food store and got some ginger Candy, a Mediterranean (sp?) salad for lunch. Then spent some time looking for the Humane Society. Had to stop at a vet's office and have them look it up so I could find it. I went up and down the road, but it never appeared. Looked it up on line when I c=got home and found out it was on a side street with the same name but it was a Court and not a street. I may try to go over there to drop off stuff tomorrow, but one of their sites says they are closed on Wednesday and another site said they were closed on Wednesdays, so WHO KNOWS! I also went to Harris Teeter for groceries. SiL brought Nannie home around 6:50 PM, and now Nannie's nails are burgundy and she is thrilled they 'match' clothes she had on and others she also has that are close enough in color. She spent 40 minutes tying together (in her mind) the TV they watched over at SiL's house, the show we were watching when she came home, and the commercials that had nothing to do with any of it, and the nail salon people. I REALLY need to get her on tape, because there is NO WAY I can tell you all she said and how confused and messed up it was. She was also, she told me, part of the crew from Fixer to Fabulous, who were in ITALY and the folks who do renovation of DUMPS in Hawaii, (which they sold for 1,200,000+!! Anyway It was some kind of weird story she had cobbled together. I had to take another 1/2 Xanax because I was so tired and really didn't want to listen to Nannie's fairy tales about her life and all the things she has done and is part of. SMH!

Anyway, I have to go down to the den and get Momo, and to the kitchen to get my drinks of milk, Pepsi and ice water (no, not all in the same glass!)

Don't know what is planned for tomorrow, but I am in the mood to throw stuff away!

Was 59 and windy/chilly today and is supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow.

I meant the Humane society said it was closed Wednesdays and the other said it was open on Wednesdays. I am so tired I am confused too!
