The keyboard on the Chromebook has died, so typing is pretty awkward.  Will likely replace it with an actual laptop

Work was less busy than expected despite having to cover for several people out sick, would have been a very quiet day otherwise

After work was normal, usual exercise and dating app stuff.  Think I'm going to let this guy make the next move, but I doubt there is any potential there

Will be in the upper 40s with some rain today

Joe, hope you have a good day.  

I'm the last one to give any advice, having had to failed long-term relationships and no luck in the dating department.  

Our county is a bit backward as well.  We have to pay the license either in person or by mail.  In the past I used to pay at the vet but apparently not now.  It's mid-county and inconvenient so I'll mail it.  At least it's only ever three years.  It's annoying that they don't send a bill when it's due but a late notice when it's past due.  

My doctor says my home readings are more important than the in-office readings that has been high both times I've seen her.  I have to consistently be below 140 to avoid medication.  Today I'm 139.  LOL. She's also making me see her every three months as required for a benzo script.  My last doctor saw me every six months because I don't take it every day a 90 day supply lasted six months.  This doctor only prescribes 30 at a time but has been very good at renewing it through the portal.

I decided to sign up for Medicare on my birthday after all.  Just to get it out of the way and stop worrying about it.

My air conditioner has been coming on in the afternoon these days.  I have it set for 78.  As the Summer kicks in and I'm used to it, I'll raise it to 80.   

I'm planning a trip to see my parents in May.   

Slept a whopping 5 and a half hours.  Not sure if I'll go back to bed or go to yoga.  bleh

Woke up at 10:30, and went back to bed, but I decided that since SiL is coming today (maybe 12 noon or 1 PM) I needed to go downstairs and unlock the doors so she won't be locked out. Also wanted Momo to relieve her bladder, and to feed her breakfast. I set up Nannie's breakfast tray with glass, spoon, and meds, so when SiL gets here she'll only have to pour the juice and put the yogurt on the tray. Am having a cup of coffee, and prolly won't go back to sleep. I have to write some checks to pay bills. On the other hand.....I may put my head back on the pillow and wait for the Mr. Arthur-Itis meds to start working. Then I can get up when SiL arrives; I don't know if she's planning to take Nannie to her house or not. Anyway, that's all for now, because my right hip is grumbling.

No Stars, hope your hip stopped its grumbling and you were able to take care of errands.

Tweety, hope your day goes well, whether you choose to nap or not!  I'm sure your parents will enjoy seeing you in May. 

I actually slept well last night, despite taking a little nap yesterday after we were all unpacked.  I got the laundry started, then went out to get the car to do some errands.  I guess the hatchback on the car was up (slightly), enough to catch the garage door.  One of the hinges broke, and disabled the door!  Dh was able to open the door completely and we got the car out.  Then he removed the damaged hinge and I added to my errands list: Go to Lowe's and get new hinge!  Errands all done, then we had lunch and he went out and fixed the garage door.  Dh examined the car, and only found a tiny scratch on the hatch door.  Disaster averted!!

I got most of the trip laundry done.  Linens done and folded and carried out to the RV.  Trip clothes are in the dryer.

It is nice here, some pretty clouds out, there is snow in the mountains and it is 65 degrees (very nice).  We have checked intermittently on the eagle cam for Big Bear, and while pip watch began 2/29, there are no confirmed pips yet (pip is the chick beginning to break through the egg to hatch).   Crossing our fingers that all three eggs hatch!  Last year, neither egg hatched, which was sad.
