NJ22 I too remember years ago when things were tight, managed to get by but just barely

Rose Queen that sounds like a pretty easy recipe

Tweety that seems about the norm with vet visits

Stars glad that you got some time to relax today and still got things done

Work was not too bad yesterday, did get a new case but managed to get it done along with everything else.  Today doesn't look too busy either, but I guess we'll see.  Hopefully the pace doesn't pick up again

Did laundry during lunch, then had to stop at the pet store after work and then exercise, the rest of the evening was quiet

Think making more of an effort to be mindful is really helping.  I'm even doing additional meditation in the evening if I have the time.  I try to be mindful throughout the day though it's a struggle and not always successful

Might do the grocery shopping tonight but we'll see, it's supposed to rain for most of the day

Going to be cooler today, in the upper 70s

Tweety, I'm technically mid-Atlantic, we've just been having some crazy high temps long term with no end in sight that we just aren't acclimated to. And with me being an OR nurse where low 60s is the norm, it's a struggle to be outside in 100 degree weather even for short periods.

It's always seems weird to me when it's hotter "up north" than it is here.  It's hotter where my parents are in North Carolina.  I'm relatively heat tolerant though.  I went hiking in Joshua Tree Park in California in 100 plus weather once.  Good thing since climate change seems to be happening.  We had our hottest May on record this year.

I'm hoping Slowbro turned a corner.  Before bedtime he finished his dinner, drank some and pooped a little.  He hasn't vomited that I know of.  But he only ate half of his breakfast.  He found his way outside and doesn't seem to be eating grass.  Going to just watch and see.  Fingers crossed.
