Tweety those sound like interesting recipes

Ado thankfully I've never had issues with rats or mice

NJ22 I prefer easy to make meals like that

Stars it's understandable why that would be an aggravating situation.  Perhaps talking with him today will yield some answers

Was an odd day yesterday, had a headache in the morning, might not have slept well, and was feeling down and somewhat anxious most of the morning.  By the afternoon I was feeling better.  There was no obvious trigger

So I took it easy the rest of the day.  Went off diet, skipped  exercise,  and got my bike tire repaired.  Got a new pump, as I think the old one damaged the tire

Feeling better today, definitely feel like I've slept better.  But this isn't  this first time in recent days I've had an off day like that.  So I'm going to reflect and see if perhaps there is a source for this.  Perhaps I'm trying to do too much,  in work or life, or too much time on the wrong things.  Good time to reflect

Nothing going on after work.  J comes home from Pittsburgh today

Will be up to 90 today, rain still holding  off

It's probably maybe 50 years since I had a qualuude; my tension was so high yesterday, that I was just daydreaming of something to bring me down to a level of consciousness that wasn't totally UNconcscious, but, you know, like sleep, thought-free and un-tethered.

Speaking of 'old' drugs, one I doubt they make anymore is a maroon football shaped capsule named PLACIDYL. And it sure made ya PLACID. I had one once and it made me feel like a bowl of chopped, creamed spinach. UGH. And to see someone else on it, talk about slow motion like a sloth, with slurry speech. Not good company!

Glad to have survived those days! WHEW!

I read this thread everyday, but don't often post....but I had to respond to this!  Tweety,  I never did the disco thing, it was straight up rock and roll for me, but I absolutely LOVED " ludes".  And as you said, not a good thing for me personally, either.   Glad we survived those times !

It's a wonder we survived right?  LOL
