Good morning!
Joe, hope you have a good session with the counselor and that your work load cooperates.
I remember the show Northern Exposure and how popular it was but never saw it. It was in the days I didn't watch TV.
Ado, I remember the story of Dr. Death, good thing he's in prison. Scary stuff indeed.
Dianah, I hope you get the RV in time.
J22, that's quite the race your DIL is doing. It's hard to stay motivated sometimes but people like that are inspiring.
I'm afraid if I put out bird feed it would attract rats. My fruit trees, now all dead, used to attract rats.
I did not sleep well last night but I figured I wouldn't since I slept a lot Sunday night and took an afternoon nap. Bleh....
Nothing much going on. Scheduled a hot yoga class. Texted my doc since I didn't get through to his office about ordering my labs for my physical next week and I'll pick up a script this afternoon since he's off today. For some reason he can't send it electronically to the lab I use, which is the one at work where I have a low co-pay.
I see in my "USPS Informed Delivery" that I'm getting my check from the insurance company refunding $150 in car insurance since I canceled them. Not sure why they had to send a manual check, but I can deposit via my phone.
Hope all have a good day.
On my lunch break, half-listening to OCD coworker on a conference explain everything that is wrong with new electronic record. Sigh. I wonder if she won't just up and retire over this. She can't control things, and I think this really stressing her out. And she went to visit her mom with Alzheimer's in California over the weekend and that didn't go well. Other coworker, who is newer, is having medical issues and may need to take time off. This makes me sound mean, but I'm glad I only have 6 days left to work. Cool and rainy. It may snow tomorrow.
Annie, I like your office plant! T inherited 4 at work, but I only plan to take one when I leave.
j22~ 6 days! w00t! Yee-haw! Wowie-zowie! Congratulations!
Nice day, partly cloudy and 72 degrees. By Thursday it'll be up to 82 (!???!) WOW! The temps here have been on a roller-coaster, as it was 60-something the other day.
Dull day here, but no complaints about that. Nannie had a late lunch and zonked out. We had to yell at her to get her to wake up and eat supper!
There was a flock of vultures flying around the neighborhood.....SEVENTEEN of them! But after a dozen or so fly-arounds, they flew elsewhere. No good dead things on the ground I guess.
Again, I am doing laundry. At least we aren't in the age of scrubbing boards at the riverside....especially since there is no riverside around here!
Hope everyone has a good evening and sleeps well tonight!

Tweety I have similar feelings, my job has given me quite a bit but I fear it may be taking even more
Stars my dad had a birdfeeder at the old house for many years
Dianah I've heard of those Depression era recipes, sound interesting
Hi Davey
Ado it's good you're keeping an eye on these changes, even though they make her easier to manage
NJ22 kind sounds like the weather we're having here
Yesterday was one of the slowest days at work I've had in a long time, though I did get a new case near the end of the day. Which was good, was very tired most of the day and had stomach problems, not sure why.
After work went to the doctor's, was glad that the weight and BP were only up a little since last time, given that I was off diet from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Had time to exercise once I got home
Will see the counselor over the lunch hour today. If thing work out we'll meet virtually over lunch hour going forward. Hopefully work will cooperate, but doesn't look too busy today and the boss will be out so I should be able to manage
Will be cooler today, in the 30s. Fairly windy too
