:roll My daughter recently went in to get a tubligation. The doctor told her it was not possible because she has had her appendix removed. Does anyone know how true this is? Is it possible to have a tubligation?

First i've ever heard of an appendix interfering with a tubal.

That has got to be one of the weirdest reasons why someone couldn't have a tubal that I've ever heard of. What has one got to do with the other? I'd check with another doc if I were her.

I assume you mean tubal ligation. These are often performed laparoscopically. Previous abdominal surgery can cause adhesions that can make laparoscopic procedures difficult. If she is set on having it done, I'm sure her primary care MD can find someone to do it.
