I also applied to texas tech fnp for the fall 2013. Still waiting to hear. I have about 3.5 years of nursing experience but I heard its an extremely competitive program. Anyone hear yet?

I also applied for FNP this fall. This wait until mid may is killing me! I heard they have over 400 applicants. I have a great GPA but only 2 years RN exp and 4 years LVN exp prior. I hope I get some good news!

Wow. I have heard it is not uncommon to have to apply more than once from multiple people. "Mid-May" can not come fast enough!

Yeah, I didn't find out until the very end of may last year...but of course I didn't get accepted. Not really sure what they are looking for! I have a good gpa and 6 years of RN experience in ICU and L&D. I just hope I get in somewhere! Good luck to everyone! :)

I applied for fall 2013 as well. The anticipation is killing me! Hopefully we will all get the word any day now. Looking forward to hearing from all of you on your status and I will post as soon as I hear something. Good luck to all :-)
