Trying to pass the NCLEX

Published

Hi I am 43 and have taken the NCLEX 2 times and failed both times. I did the Kaplan review and thought it helped but I guess it didnt. I do not know where to go from here, I feel so stupid:cry::cry:

Hi and welcome to the site

Moved to the NCLEX forum,

You are not stupid otherwise you wouldn't have made it through nursing school. People do fail the exam and I did twice before I passed on third. Take a break from studying, decide on the next plan but do it as if you haven't tested before. If you have the time check these 2 threads out and consider Suzanne's plan

You can do it!! :anpom::anpom:

You just need to put your game face back on :msk:and handle your business

I am new to this site and I am not sure how to use it correctly. I want to try Suzannes ideas but It says I need to have 15 postings before I can contact her. What does that mean? I dont think I should do Kaplan again because I have already done all the questions. What do you think:crying2:

You have to keep doing what you are doing. You have to keep posting responses/threads on the site. You have 13 more to go.

Whilst you are studying Suzanne's first tip you can do some posts on here (they soon add up) and one you have completed her first tip you should have enough points to send her a pm. No good contacting her until you have done the first tip and they should take you a while depending on how you decide to study

Thanks.....but I am still confused about this. Is this response counted toward my 15? I am so stressed ou about the NCLEX and now this is stressing me because I must be stupid If I cant figure out how to use this site.

Every time you post a comment or thread with a new question then it all goes towards your count of 15. If you look at the right of the post it will give your age, destination etc and also posts, that indicates how many posts you have made

Thanks again, I tried to watch the video for the site but it didnt work. I have so many NCLEX books in front of me and I dont know where to start. :crying2:

After I have 15 posts how do I send Suzanne a message?:(

Do you think Lippencott or Saunders or Prentice Hall would be the best book to use for the NCLEX?:)
