Trying to Contact Victoria College LVN Students!!!!

:lol2: Hi, I was just accepted into the LVN program at Victoria College, TX. I am trying to contact nurses who graduated from this program or students still in the program. I am thrilled about being accepted and I feel it would be nice to network with students or nurses from the program for advice. Anybody willing to give a few words of wisdom??????

Well, I graduated from the program many moons ago- 1990 to be exact. Doubt the same people are still there. I was actually at a satellite campus in Hallettsville, but we traveled frequently to DeTar and Citizens for clinicals. I received an excellent education and felt totally prepared for NCLEX. Good luck with your studies!

Hi Nony congratulations! I tried to get in the program this year but grrrrrrr its too late...i need to wait next year cause driving from hallettsville to victoria is too much i think. We just moved here in lavaca from victoria hehehe too confusing. While waiting i applied for cna program for 2 weeks in a nursing home here in lavaca, i hope they will give me a call saying you got it lol. I have a BSA-accounting degree in my country(asia) but still hard to find a job here in usa specially i don't have any experience here. Just been here in a year now - 9 months in victoria just 3 months something in lavaca. Any suggestions what review materials like books for the NET exam?

Just study the NET guide. You can also use study materials on the Victoria College website. The college has a campus in halletsville so you should check that against next year. I have a degree in English Language from Africa. But after begin out here a while, I have decided to change my field. There are so many opportunities in nursing and I want to take advantage of it. Well I hope they take you for the CNA program it helps you gain experience in healthcare.
