Troy University BSN

Would like to hear anything from current or past students of the BSN program at Troy. I am moving to the area from Florida and I am looking for a BSN program.

Any info would be great!

I currently go their now for the BSN program. I am only in second semester, but the only thing I can tell you is to stay on yop of your reading and make sure you take full advantage of the pratice time in labs for your check-offs, oh yeah the good news is that once second semester is over, you have no more check-offs!

Hi Ms Lee,

How difficult was it to get into the program. I am currently planning on applyig for the fall semester..my overall GPA is 3.01 but the lady i spoke to informed me that they take anywhere from a 2.5 and above. how competitve is it to get in the program??

Troy is extremely easy to get into, but once you're in it's hard work. It's not easy making it through though, but what nursing program is?

hi Ms. Lee.

it is the BSN program. am planning on applying for the fall 10. I needed to take 3 other classes but I want to make sure my chances of getting into the program is good before i take those three classes. I already got a bachelors in another field and it will cost me alot to take those three classes. I am planning on taking thoses classes in the summer and start the BSN in the fall at Troy. how easy is it to get in the program??

Troy is vey easy to get into, you are not wasting your time taking those classess. As long as you at least have a 2.5, you are fine. Oh yeah, why are you not doing an accelerated program since you already have a bachelors?

I have tried several times to apply for the accelerated program but they are so hard to get into...well at least they are to get in here in GA. What other schools in AL are easy to get in for the BSN??

Can someone please tell me if pre-calculus algebra is the equivalent of college algebra or is it a whole other course?

hello MsLee,you happen to know the average GPA of accepted students for the BSN program?? I just got my academic evaluation and my GPA is lower than i thought but still much higher than 2.5. What is the average GPA for the students accepted for the BSN??
