Trouble landing a nursing residency in Miami florida

Hi all,

I am having trouble getting a job as a new graduate nurse in Miami. I am looking for a bedside position and I'm told that my only option is a new grad nurse residency. I have applied to many hospitals.. Baptist, Jackson, UM, Mount Sinai, but I haven't gotten selected for interviews at any. I have my BSN, and I already passed the NCLEX. Does anyone have any insight or advice on how to navigate this process? Are any of you experiencing the same thing?

Hi there! I am having a tough time as well. 

Although I was finally called for the baptist screening interview and haven't heard back for a week. I also have the UMH residency interview this week, but they didn't mention whether it was a panel interview or job fair, and they haven't asked for unit preferences either, anyone else interviewing for UMH?

Hi I didn't, was it a 352 number for UMH?

good luck! I had mines earlier this week! standard interview questions .. tell me about your self, goals, experience, top specialties.

Did y'all heard bacK since ?

I had mine on august 23rd and they told me that I will hear about them within 2 weeks
