just recently got hired for a nursing position, a month after getting my liscence. However, it has been 2 to 3 weeks and I have only been scheduled for 1 day of training due to lack of nurses to train me on the day I'm supposed to be working. I am not sure what to. I'm not sure if it can sometimes last that long or if I need to be considering other options.

1 day of training in 2-3 weeks? That's kind of a big red flag isn't it? I'd seriously consider other options if I were you.

^^^ this ^^^. Home health is tough enough and is usually NOT recommended for someone without some HH or other nsg experience.
TBH, I'd proceed VERY VERY SLOWLY with this job, esp considering the lack of training. Perhaps they can patch/piece together training time. But I'd be super concerned and consider other options at this time. JMHO
Thank you both for your advice. Since then, I have decided to resign from this job and accepted an offer to a short term rehab.
