Hi everyone,

It's that time of year again! I have applied to Trent University's compressed nursing program for Fall 2016. We can share admissions/GPA information here to help each other out! My cGPA is 76% & the chances seem very slim considering the cut-off of high 70s.

I'm applying to Trent as well. I'm currently at YorkU finishing up my Psychology degree. My GPA is about a 7.13 on the York scale. Does anyone know when Trent starts to give out offers of admissions?

I heard they started sending out offers in mid-feb last year. Have you applied to any other colleges?

Yes, I've applied to Humber, York and Nipissing. Did you apply to any other schools?

I think they only look at the last two years.

As gb13 said earlier, they only look at last two years. Do you mind sharing your cGPA as well as GPA for the last two years?

my grade point average for the last two years was 2.7 (72%) so not that good. I'm hoping I have a chance at Trent, but after reading this thread I am seeing how competitive it is.....what are your guys thoughts??? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!!!

We're in the same boat! I talked to the enrollment adviser yesterday. She said last year's cut off was 79%!

That's awful news.... what are your thoughts on it all? Also what is your gpa average in percentage?

that's very upsetting for me as well.. Trent was my only hope :(All the nursing programs in Ontario are highly competitive and the cut-off GPA has gone insanely up over the past few years.. My gpa is about 3.2 (~76%) in the last 2 years.. Have you completed a degree program already?
