Does anyone know what programs are available for nurses that want to travel around the world and work? If you have experienced this opportunity, how did it go? How long does the trip continue or is it your choice??

There are agencies that help certain countries by getting you temp work permits but each country has their own nurse registration requirements so hard to just think of one agency help you travel around the world to work. Best thing to do is look at the country you wish to live and work see what their nurse and immigration/work permit requirements are and go from there
Do you know if there is an agency that travels through out the world and not just one country?
There are a few agencies that work in a few countries however they don't have you working, for example, in Germany one week and another country the next week. Nursing as well as country requirements have to be met and that can take months to be sorted. Suggest google search for nursing agencies and see which ones work internationally

I am a travel nurse in the US working on getting my UK license. I know of one agency that deals with US and international travel assignments called Premier Healthcare Professionals. Their website is The Leader in Travel Nursing | Start Your Adventure. Another agency I know of handles travel RN's interested in moving to the UK. It's called Continental Travelnurse. Their website is Home - Continental Travelnurse. I hope this helps!

thanks for posting this. I'm a US RN, traveling in middle Arizona currently. I am seriously considering either UK or Australia after that. I know that the process can take some time. Good luck to you, would be great to hear your feedback on the process

Suggest you travel to both UK and Australia and spend some time there and see which country fits your lifestyle.
I spent 1 year in England back in the mid 80's playing soccer, I found the people to be very jealous of Americans and England to be very boring place in general. Also I hated the dreary weather they had over there, In August it would be jacket weather. I have zero desire to visit again.
I take vacation to Australia last year, Spent 2 weeks there and found the place to be fun, a little expensive, but the people were pretty cool. Looking for a return trip here in the future.
