  1. I know that who you work with can determine how much you enjoy your job. I am a senior in high school and I want to be a nurse in the near future and I was wondering how much other nurses effect your work, negatively or positively. Do you have a work-only relationship or are you close friends with most of the people that you work with? Thanks for your time!
  2. How hard would you say the classwork is? -Is it possible to have a part time job to pay for schooling and still have time to study? - How many hours of studying is typically required each night? - Which courses are the most difficult? Is there a way I could prepare myself for these courses ahead of time? - Any tips for someone who is thinking about going into nursing??
  3. I want to be a nurse in the future and since I am just a senior in high school I have a while to wait before I can begin my work as a nurse. I have no idea what it is like being a nurse every day!! What is your daily schedule usually? I know this varies depending on where you work, but it could help me to decide which area of nursing I want to go into. Also, just out of curiosity, what encouraged you to become a nurse? What helps you get through the long shifts?? Thanks for your time!!
  4. Do you know if there is an agency that travels through out the world and not just one country?
  5. Does anyone know what programs are available for nurses that want to travel around the world and work? If you have experienced this opportunity, how did it go? How long does the trip continue or is it your choice??
  6. Hi! I am going to be a senior next year and the thought of choosing a great school for next year is daunting. I have a 3.7 GPA in high school right now and I want a school that will challenge me, but still be realistically possible for me. I would love anyone's imput/ advice! I heard that Purdue gives its nursing students the opportunity to go directly into its nursing school after their senior year of high school. But I have some questions about that! What are the requirements to getting in? Will the nursing school at Purdue effectively prepare me for work afterwards/ is it as challenging as a school that accepts students after they have completed one year of prereq classes? I am also considering IU. I have done research and their nursing school is great! But I was talking to a recent graduate and she said that out of the 800 people that applied to the school only 60 got in. What is the average GPA needed to get into the school? Also, if you don't get into the school, could you apply to IUPUI the next year and continue classes there? IUPUI seems like a wonderful school for nursing students because of the nearby hospitals and cost of tution. But would you get the same complete college experience as if you would go to IU or Purdue? I know I have too many questions, but thanks for reading through this! Any comments and answers would help me GREATLY!!
