Hello all!
It has always been a dream of mine to do travel nursing. I currently live in the US and it would be my ultimate dream to be a travel nurse in Europe or another country. Does anyone know if this is possible or offered anywhere? I would appreciate any tips or resources:jester:

Google: travel nurse jobs Great Britain. Quite a few things come up. I know a nurse that worked a contract in London then a contract in Oxford. Takes months to get all your paperwork in order.

To work in the UK or any other European country you'll need to be registered with their professional body, the UK is the nursing and midwifery council http://WWW.NMC-UK.org.
To get a work visa will be challenging as you will need to fit into the shortage occupations list and get sponsorship from an employer. The UK health service is in crisis at the moment with a huge financial deficit and nursing jobs are being reduced.
In Europe I don't think its a great deal better
Just saw the nurse that had contracts in England & she recommended continentaltravelnurses.com. She also said there are tests you have to take & be aware it is probably a minimum of 6 months to get all the paperwork in order.

yes I talked with Continental too. lots of time, and some money on your part as well. and waiting while in England after their testing until there is a job. but listen, if you have a money and time cushion and it seems like something you really want to do and worth the risk, why not?!
