travel nursing

anyone a travel nurse?? What are the requirements? And do you love it or hate it? what are the pros and cons? Im thinking about doing travel nursing later on , in about a year or so and just wanted to know how other nurses like it.thanks!

Check out the travel nurse forum - It's under the specialty tab above (nursing speciality) down at the bottom - There is a lot of great information there - I am traveling right now and I like it - 2 books to consider - Shalon Kearney's Hitting the Road (very good info there, but slightly outdated) and Epstein LaRue's Highway Hypodermics (more recent, not as good info) - I read them both before getting started this year. Be aware that as an LPN/LVN, you will not be able to find many offers in the field of travel nursing, most are geared more to the role of the RN.
