Hello all! My husband worked with two married travelers in the ED during nursing school and they told him that travel nursing is like the land of milk and honey (if you can handle it). As a result my husband would like us to do traveling (once I graduate nsg school and get exp of course. I apply to school in two more qtrs). I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me:
1. what you enjoyed about travel nursing
2. what you disliked about travel nursing
3. the agencys you liked/disliked and why
4. Any travel opportuinites abroad?
I would really appreciate the feedback as I have been trying to research the pros and cons about traveling nurses and have come up pretty dry. I know the nurses my husband worked with were very well compensated for their time and got quite a few perks. I am interested in this as I have always wanted to travel the country and we have a lot of loans to repay as we have both been full time students for the better part of 2.5 years. Thanks all!

You may want to try going to delphiforums.com and then going to the forum Travel Nurses and Therapists on that site. Lots of good information there about travel nursing and lots of feedback on hospitals and agencies.
