I am currently in Kodiak AK. Came in April for the first time and extended. Hope to be back. April to September is their Summer time. Beautiful landscape and people. It's a rural fishing town. Small Walmart and a SafeWay. McDonald's is the only thing open 24 hours. The small Critical Assess Hospital has 25 beds. Very friendly. The hospital also provides housing and a rental car. Food is very expensive.
funny, although the migration patterns of the caribou might be interesting... on a more serious note, I've just started looking and very inundated with responses from travel agencies. Everyone promising the world. Alaska is my first choice and want to do a 3mos contract beginning sometime late May. In a nut shell any valuable information on travel nursing and company's would be greatly appreciated.

In a nut shell any valuable information on travel nursing, company's or area would be greatly appreciated. Not sure where to begin looking, but as I said Alaska is first on my list.
