Does anyone know of programs where you can do travel nursing in different countries? I would love to travel the United States, but I would be even more interested in going overseas as well. Have you heard of programs like this? Thank you!

The military has civilian contracts in multiple countries. Takes a while to get and you have to sign for one or two years. There is a central place to look for them that I've seen posted multiple times on other forums, but even if I knew the link, I can't post it here. Hope that helps. Definitely a long term endeavor. Yes, Middle East is possible, but the pay is no better than here and the culture is too different for most Americans, especially women. Last suggestion is Worldwide Travel in NY. They have a lot of interesting assignments, not just the Virgin Islands, but Bermuda and so on. Worth a call. Not for Europe though, that is either military or pretty much on your own.

hey! continentaltravelnurse.com ! I just started their process. You get to travel around Europe on 13 week assignments, theres plenty of info on the site. I just took the english test and I'm waiting for my first round of applications to come through to register for the Overseas nursing program to get licensed in Europe. it sounds awesome and I'm looking to maybe start summer 2014 after i get some experience.

I've looked at continental travel nurse several times and it looks good. Let us know how it goes!
