Are there any travel nurses with a home state of Missouri? If so, which company do you travel through? Have your experiences been good or bad?

I'm no longer a MO resident, but have been a traveler (never in MO)? Are you wanting to travel within your home state (MO)? If so, I can't really provide any help with what hospital to choose, but if you have any other specific questions, perhaps, myself or others can help.
Yes, I want to start traveling but I don't know which company to choose. I got a call back from American Mobile, but after reading all the negative experiences I'm not sure I want to proceed with this company. I just need the lowdown on the different travel companies. Anything will be useful! Thanks!
I'd recommend posting this in the travel section of this board as well as doing a search there. Also, check out this site http://www.travelnursingcentral.com/
Obviously all info is subjective, but if 90 % of the nurses report a negative experience with a certain company, it could be that the company is not very good.
Remember that travel agencies are located throughout the US and staff throughout the US (and world for that fact), so you don't have to go through a MO agency.
For example, I used Supplemental Health Care (and my wife works with them currently). I was in TX (and we are back in TX now) and they are a NY based company.
Good luck to you. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to assist.

I work for Nurse Finders, they have an office in St. Louis (not sure where in the city). I have been with them for almost a year. I worked an 8 week contract out of their Springfield office in Branson. I have been happy for the most part. I basically do PRN work for them now, I just call when I want to work and they hook me up. I get paid when I get off work which is amazing. They do take the taxes out, so your not stuck with tons to pay in. They offer benefits and everything. Check them out!
