Travel Nurse Aide or Nurse Aide Per diem

Published

I would like to know which agenices hire Traveling Nurse aides? I am interested in going out of town to work as a Nurse Aide in different areas?

Thank you,

Generally Nurse Aides don't get travel contracts in the same way that travel nurses do, simply because there is not the same sort of need for Aides as there is nurses. Yes, aides are necessary, but usually can be found in the local area without much trouble.

I'm not sure but I would try contacting agencies in the areas you want to travel to and explain to them what you ate trying to do. Maybe you can do a local contract or work per diem but I don't think they will arrange housing or pay for travel.

The only traveling Nurses Aides that I know of are Agency Nurses Aides, they get paid quite a bit per hour but it all depends on the area some keep you fairly local to places only a 5-20 minutes from your home while others may make go to places over an hour away, where I work we had an agency women comeing in for a couple weeks till we hired some people and she lived two hours from my facility! She also said that they don't compincate for milage because of the fact they pay you so much more per hour.

Perdium on the other hand gets paid less than agency but you work for the same place hopfully not to far from home plus coworkers tend to treat people who are perdium better than agency. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
