Hey.... if anyone gets to do a travel assignment at NIH in Bethesda, MD... do it. It is a government facility and very well staffed. The nurses there actually like their jobs and travelers. The patient load is 1/3 on days and 1/4 on nights!!!!! It has been a great experience!!!

So Sassy, how did you go about getting an assignment there?
Through a travel agency. I think NIH only uses this one agency. The pay is good too with this facility. Plus... you don't have to get licensed in the state of Maryland because in a government facility, any state license will suffice.

Hey, Sassy!
I am thinking about relocating to the DC area in a few months. Would you mind very much giving me the info on the agency that recruited you for the NIH job? My email is [email protected]
I'd really appreciate it :)
Look for an e-mail!!
Sassy,
Could you send me that email as well with the name of the travel agency?
[email protected]
Thanks much!

Hello,
Could you also send that info to me? I am thinking of going to the Washington, D.C. area by next year some time and will need to find a Psychiatric travel position in or around that area.
Any suggestions? Currently I am with Supplemental Health Care (Buffalo office... Kathryn Patchell is my recruiter)which I have had an excellent experience with but I am not sure if they have a job for me in this area.
My emailinfo is :
Thank so much!
