Travel from home to work

Hello, how far is your workplace from your home? How far are you willing to travel for work (miles/minutes?)? Will an hour of travel (about 50 miles) be reasonable? Thank you all.

I used to work 10 minutes commute from home but the work was increasingly hectic and stressful with huge patient loads=lots of unpaid overtime, no coffee time taken, and even answered calls/pages on my unpaid lunchtime.

I have decided to take a position which is 30-40 min commute by bus each way.

The work is specialty clinic work, with a patient population I love. I have decided the longer commute is worth the switch for the increased quality of worklife balance
