Travel Assignment In La - Kaiser Sunset Vs. USC

Hey all!

Looking at travel assignments in the LA area, its a toss up between USC float pool and Kaiser Sunset ICU. Anyone have any experience? Words of wisdom? Housing I should keep an eye out for??

Did you take an assignment with either? I am currently at LAMC.

i ended up turning them both down, actually. I'm up in the San Francisco Bay Area now! :)

ah, did you go to Oakland or Richmond? Did you go with a Kaiser or another facility?

I see that you already accepted at Stanford. I have heard great things about Stanford. I have worked at USC and Kaiser West L.A. Had a friend who worked at Kaiser Sunset. My experience with West L.A. was not good. However, I am at Kaiser Redwood City and it is so much better. You do float with any Kaiser though. I would love to do a contract at Stanford but only 7 weeks left here and headed to the East Coast for the spring. Good luck!!
