Their HR department would be the best ones to ask. You don't have to tell them you're thinking about applying-- they get these calls all the time.
I think the current IRS mileage reimbursement is $0.555 or $0.56 per mile.
Thanks... I've talked with one company and they only pay set rate no mileage...just wondering if this is the way it's all done.
I believe that if a company requires you to use your own vehicle for work travel (not just commuting to and from the office, but field work that's required for the job), they have to pay you mileage at the IRS rate.
Well, this is with a company that pays strickly for the assessment 1 1/2 hr time and no mileage. It does seem like they should pay mileage too. thanks

If the company does not pay mileage you can claim that expense on your taxes.
