Transition from nursing student to profession

Hello Nurses! I'm on my final year of nursing school and will soon follow your footsteps in to the Nursing world outside of school. In the mean time our senior class is doing an activity to reach out to nurses in different fields to ask them the following questions:

1. What field of nursing are you in?

2. Why did you choose your field?

3. For how long have you been in this field?

4. What are the requirements and preparations to get into this field?

5. Describe an ordinary day, routine day?

6. What are the challenges in this field?

7. Areas of fulfillment

8. What is your advice to senior nursing students?

If you could please find the time to answer all these questions it would be greatly appreciated! Your answers will serve as a guide to all of us who are soon to be transitioning from to student nurse to nurse.
