Transferring nursing courses

I was hoping that some one could help me find a school that would let me transfer my nursing classes. I was in a ADN program at a local community college working in my 3rd semester, but because of a credit not being transferred on my transcript I will not be allowed to go further. I only heve two semesters to go. But if I don't get in for this summer I will have to start all over because my fundamental classes will be 2 years old. Then I won't be able to graduate at the earliest until 2011. Is there a school that I can transfer into without starting all over?

Have you applied for a waiver of the requirement? I would make an appointment with your adviser to ask for help in fixing this problem.

If you were otherwise doing well in courses there may be an argument.

Otherwise can you make the credit up this summer?

What type class are you missing? If it is a gen-ed maybe you could CLEP or take it now while you are finishing your last semseter. I would try every single option to get it done now.

The class is a prerequisite. It's the A&P II. I have completed the class online but it did not transfer because of a balance. I can pay it off within the next two weeks but registration was over yesterday and since it wasn't on my transcript I wasn't allowed to register.

Who the heck dropped the ball at the college and allowed you to even start the program without your pre-reqs in place? I would be fighting this with the school. Pay the balance on that credit ASAP while you are getting this straightened out. I don't think nursing classes are usually transferrable, I know at my school you cannot come in from another program.
