Hi - I have a question that perhaps someone can help me with. I passed the NCLEX and got my RN license in Jan 2008 in the state of Michigan.
I never worked as an RN in Michigan (I got very ill...)
I moved to Chicago and I am now well enough to work as an RN. I'm in the process of transferring my license from Michigan to Chicago.
I know the NCLEX scores won't be an issue at it's a national exam...but what I need to know is this:
Does it matter that I got my license in Michigan BUT never worked in Michigan?
If anyone know's the answer please let me know. Much appreciation! Thanks, Jim.

No it doesn't matter. You do need to meet their requirements which generally isn't a problem
Whew! That's a relief. Thank you Silverdragon102!
