I do not recommend going to LIU for all the reasons you mentioned, but not about rudeness. They're all smiles and politeness, but everything else said about the school is spot on.Hey everyone, I am currently enrolled in LIU's regular nursing program but as a second degree student. I was going to apply to some accelerated programs but had a lot going on in my life last year and missed a lot of the deadlines/didn't want to do it accelerated so I got into LIU's regular nursing program and have been here for a semester finishing prerequisites. For the heck of it, one week before the application was due, I decided to apply to NYU's accelerated nursing program and got in! i've been having a hard time deciding about what I should do. I've read really mixed reviews on both programs on the Internet, as well as from some people at LIU who say that the nursing program here is unnecessarily difficult and professors are extremely rude especially to female students (this is from a friend of mine, he's in the part-time evening program as a second degree). I was wondering what y'all think. People who are currently in loans or have been enrolled in both programs -- I'd love to hear your Input! (I need to confirm my enrollment by May 27)
Yup. And just failed out by less than a percent on 490. Will be dismissed after they get the bureaucratic part of my execution in order. Was going to graduate 2 days from now. From anecdotal statistics, maybe 30% of admitted bodies actually make it to hear the pomp-and-circumstance and wear the black gown. The nursing program itself is drastically more vicious than the pre-professional courses.
