Training Programs in New York??

hello everone,

Im asking if anyone know any certified nursing assistant training programs in new york city? Im searching for schools but I cant find any. Any reply to this thread will be greatly appreaciated.

hi xatm097, I am sure there are.

I suggest checking with the Red Cross, and calling different facilities. Sometimes they will offer a free course for you to become certified. They will usually want you to commit to employment with them for a period of time though. Make sure it is a place you would be happy working in.

The other place you can check in NY is any local BOCES, they are usually a county based education program and they have programs that you can attend to obtain a certification....of course you would have to pay a small fee but this also leaves you the opportunity to seek employment at the place of your choice.
